SetAtlas is an interactive world map for discovering DJ sets and electronic music from cities around the world.
The app is built and maintained by a single person (me). I am an avid machine music fan and DJ. I wished to explore what kind of sets were played in cities around the world. I did not find a satisfactory service so that's how this project was born. For DJs and music fans alike, I hope you find this website useful.
How sets are curated
Sets are sourced from Mixcloud and matched to cities based on their recorded location or the city name in the set title. Play counts and upload dates are used to surface relevant and well-regarded sets. Each city's catalogue is refreshed every 20 days.
SetAtlas does not host any audio content, all playback is provided directly by Mixcloud as for now.
