The service

SetAtlas is a map for discovering DJ sets by location. Catalogue sets play through Mixcloud's embedded player, and their terms and content policies apply to anything you stream. Registered users can also upload their own sets, which SetAtlas hosts and streams directly. Browsing requires no account; an optional free account lets you save favourites and upload sets.

Uploads

You retain all rights to the sets you upload. Uploading grants SetAtlas a non-exclusive licence to store, transcode, and stream the audio for the purpose of operating the service. You can delete your uploads at any time from your own DJ page, which also removes the stored files.

You are responsible for the content you upload. Rights holders can report infringing content through the contact page; valid complaints result in prompt removal. SetAtlas may remove any upload at its discretion.

Accounts

Provide a working email address when registering — it is the only way to verify and recover your account. Your account and password are your responsibility: keep the password safe, and if you suspect a problem, reset it via email from the login form. Accounts used to abuse the service (spam, automated registration, attempts to disrupt the platform) may be removed. You can delete your account yourself at any time from your own DJ page.

Comments

Registered users may post public comments on uploaded set pages. Keep comments relevant and do not post harassment, spam, unlawful material, or another person's private information. You can remove your own comments, and set owners may remove comments from their set pages. SetAtlas may remove comments or accounts used to abuse the service.

Acceptable use

Don't scrape or bulk-copy data from the site. Don't use automated tools to hammer the service or to create accounts. Normal use is fine.

Intellectual property

The SetAtlas name, logo, design, and codebase are owned by SetAtlas and may not be used, copied, or reproduced without permission.

Audio ownership

SetAtlas does not own any of the audio content accessible through the site. Catalogue sets are hosted and licensed by Mixcloud — issues with those should be directed to Mixcloud. Uploaded sets belong to their uploaders and are hosted by SetAtlas subject to the Uploads section above.
